Every year on October 24, Tiatr Academy of Goa, (TAG) celebrates the birth anniversary of late Rosario Rodrigues, one of the greatest pioneers of Khell-Tiatr. On this occasion, TAG also presents Lifetime Contribution to Khell/Khell Tiatr Awards to the four artistes who have given their valuable contribution to the Khell/Khell Tiatr during their lifetime.
This year the awards are being conferred on Remedious Moraes, Pascoal de Santa Cruz Rebello, Angela Moraes and Premanand Lotlikar. The awards will be presented at a specially organised function to be held on October 24, 3pm at the Gomant Vidhya Niketan, Margao, followed by a Khell-tiatr ‘Amchem Noxib Tem’ by Comedian Agostinho. Complimentary passes for tiatr are available at Gomant Vidhya Niketan-Margao on first come first serve basis.
Caitano Silva, MLA, Benaulim Constituency will be the chief guest and present the awards while veteran Khell-Tiatr artiste, Jess Fernandes has consented to be the guest of honour on the occasion.
