An MBA, Tanvi Shet Verenkar, an accomplished HR professional with over 12 years of expertise in human resources management, took the leap of starting her own business after successful innings with organisations across industries to identify. As founder and CEO at Resouz Consultants, this recruitment specialist connects businesses across India with IT and non-IT talent, helping companies build resilient and high-performing teams.

Before Tanvi decided to build a business of her own, and start a company, her career spanned across leadership roles at various organisations including MilliPixels Interactive, Ajency.in, Remote Software Solutions, and Encube Ethicals. Throughout her journey, she has led critical HR initiatives, including end-to-end recruitment, employee on boarding, policy formulation, compensation and benefits management, HR compliance, performance management system (PMS) rollouts, payroll administration, employee engagement programs, and HRIS system implementations.Beyond corporate HR, Tanvi also co-founded t&d Events, an initiative supporting local entrepreneurs in Goa through curated exhibitions that promote small businesses.

“Starting my own business was always a dream for me. Coming from a family of entrepreneurs I wanted to build something of my own. I realised a critical gap between corporate and job seekers while freelancing in 2023. With a vision to bridge this gap, I decided to take the leap and turn recruitment into a full-time business. Leaving a stable job wasn’t easy, but my husband Nicholas Alexander Souza believed in my dream even more than I did. He encouraged me to take this path while he held the fort, proving just how important it is for women to have supportive partners when making bold career moves,” states Tanvi.

Born out of Tanvi’s passion for connecting top talent with the right opportunities, Resouz Consultants is a joint venture with her sister-in-law, Nadia Agnes Souza, a graduate in computer engineering who had begun her career as a software engineer and grew into roles involving project management and client relations, working with international clients across the US and Europe. As an IT professional and recruitment specialist with over 15 years of experience, Nadia’s technical expertise in Java development, software project management, and recruitment came handy.

“Nadia had a strong background in leading cross-functional teams, conducting technical interviews, and managing client relations. Alongside her IT career, Nadia has nurtured her entrepreneurial spirit by founding ‘Pocketful of Art’, a successful Instagram-based business offering hand-embroidered products.

Resouz Consultants officially started operations in August 2024, following a successful year of independent freelancing in 2023. In 2024, Nadia transitioned into professional recruitment as the co-founder of Resouz Consultants, delivering tailored hiring solutions to companies across India. This remote-first company, headquartered virtually with team members based in Goa and Mumbai. Resouz is associated with a reputed MBA college in Goa, helping students with job placements and bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world employment opportunities.

“At Resouz, our vision is simple — to do good, meaningful work that speaks for itself. Recruitment is not about chasing numbers, but about building genuine, lasting connections. As a woman-led business, we are also passionate about creating opportunities for women to grow their careers,” exclaims Nadia.

Tanvi works with a wide range of clients, including those in the manufacturing business, IT companies, product-based firms, startups, and established businesses across various industries. “Our experience spans across diverse sectors. We have recruited for IT, finance, healthcare, manufacturing, retail, education, hospitality, real estate, tech and non-tech roles, including software developers, project managers, HR professionals, marketing specialists, finance executives, sales managers, operations heads, and leadership positions. We also assist with bulk hiring and project-based recruitment,” explains Tanvi

The company empowers job seekers by offering free resume reviews to help candidates improve their chances in the job market. For those who need a complete revamp, professional resume writing and design services are provided at a minimal cost. Importantly, the candidates are not charged placement fees—as focus is on helping them find the right opportunities without added financial stress.

“We have successfully placed over 60 candidates across various domains and seniority levels. We have partnered with over 10 companies across industries such as digital services, manufacturing, elevators and escalators, packaging solutions, environmental solutions, sealing technologies, creative agencies, and technology services. While most placements have been within Goa, we have also successfully placed candidates in Jaipur, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune, and Bengaluru. We have worked with a Qatar-based company setting up operations in Goa. We continue to expand our reach, catering to employers and job seekers beyond local geographies,” says Tanvi.
