The 18th State Conference of the Communist Party of India (CPI) was held in Porvorim on Sunday. Comrade Dr Balchandra Kango inaugurated the conference at Azada Bhavan.
More than 200 delegates from across Goa attended the conference which was conducted by a five-member Presidium of Comrades, including Shashikat Gaonkar, Kalidas Naik, Dilip Korgaonkar, Sandesh Naik and Jayashree Utagi.
