MARGAO: An Artificial Intelligence (AI) training programme for the staff of the Collectorate, South Goa, was held at the Collectorate premises in Margao on Monday. The session was conducted by Prasad Surendra Naik, lecturer in Mechanical Engineering at Government Polytechnic, Curchorem.
Collector Egna Cletus, IAS said the training aimed to equip staff with the knowledge and skills to effectively utilise AI tools for enhancing work efficiency and productivity. “The program focused on automating routine tasks, minimising manual errors, and promoting the use of AI for greater accuracy and efficiency in their official as well as personal capacities”, the Collector stated.
