MAPUSA: The annual Sandal and Urs celebrations of Hazrat Mohammad Hamza Shah Dargah at Betim, Bardez, will be held on June 7 and 8. The announcement was made by the Hazrat Mohammed Hamza Shah Sunni Jamatul Muslameen, Alto Betim. According to a press note issued by the organising committee president, Sheikh Bashir Ahmed, the Sandal programme will begin at 7.30 pm on June 7. The Urs (Vaaz Programme) will be held from 8.30 pm onwards on June 8. The main speaker for the Urs programme will be Hazrat Allama Sayed Mohammad Qadri from Jaipur. The organisers have invited members of the Muslim community to participate in the two-day religious event and benefit from the teachings and guidance shared during the programme.
