PANAJI: The BBA programme of DCT’s Srinivassa Sinai Dempo College of Commerce and Economics (Autonomous) organised its Alumni Connect 2.0 session on August 4 with alumna Sumaira Khan as the resource person.
The session, titled ‘People Operations – Beyond HR Ops’, was attended by third-year BBA students specialising in Learning & Development, Performance Management & Competency Mapping, as well as Leadership Management students from PGP Banking Finance, PGP Event Management, and MTTM programmes.
Currently an Associate People Services Advisor at Nutanix, Bengaluru, Khan spoke about the role of people operations in driving business performance. She highlighted that going beyond routine HR operations means building meaningful connections with employees, enabling professional growth, and fostering an innovative, collaborative, and supportive work culture.
