The Kala Academy stage witnessed a landmark moment in Goa’s performing arts landscape as Encore Academy of Performing Arts presented Encore Spotlight 2025—a grand spectacle that redefined the standard for student showcases in the State. The evening featured over 180 performers delivering back-to-back, high-energy acts. Each transition was smooth, and the performances built on each other to create a cohesive and captivating narrative of movement, music, and expression. The performers were offered a world-class on stage experience. For many, this was their first encounter with the discipline and excitement of professional showmanship, and they rose to the occasion brilliantly. “We believe in giving every child—not just the most talented—the chance to feel proud and special on stage. The confidence they gain in those moments stays with them for life,” said co-founder Cecille Rodrigues, Enchore Academy of Performing Arts. “Months of training and rehearsal were invested in shaping this moment. We made sure the spotlight belonged entirely to our students. Every detail, every decision was driven by the intention to make them feel like they truly belonged on that stage — not just as learners, but as artists,” said Anup Arolkar, general manager, Encore Academy of Performing Arts.
