PANAJI: With the aim of helping students gain knowledge and academic experience, the Ideal Vidya Prasarak Mandal’s Higher Secondary School organised an annual study tour to Coorg in Karnataka from 15 October 2025 to 19 October 2025.
The group visited Namdroling Monastery Golden Temple, Kaveri Nisargadhama, Harangi Elephant Tree Park, Harangi Dam, Abbey Falls, Madikeri Fort, Raja’s Seat, General Thimayya Memorial Museum, Talacauvery Temple, Bhagamandala Temple and a coffee plantation.
A total of 40 students and 5 teachers took part in the tour. The main objective of the study tour was to provide students with new learning experiences. The tour was organised under the guidance of Principal Jackson Raposo, with the support of teachers Radhika Naik, Anand Sonu Velip, Anil Gavkar and Shreya Sawardekar.
