The hallowed walls of Our Lady of Grace Church became a sanctuary of melody and meaning on the evening of December 19. The parish played host to a soul-stirring extravaganza titled “Christmas in song,” a programme meticulously woven together to ignite the spirit of the season. Marvin, served as the master of ceremonies, masterfully drawing back the velvet curtains to reveal a dual tapestry of voices. With wide-eyed wonder and infectious charm, the catechetical children took centre stage to perform the enchanting musical play “Ballka Jezucho Zolm” (The Birth of Baby Jesus) written by Fr Joe Rodrigues. The drama was set in motion by the authoritative voice of Fr Stifan who proclaimed the ancient decree of Caesar Augustus. Fr Movin directed the musical play. The spiritual journey was brought to a poignant close as Fr. Lino delivered a final, inspiring Christmas message. The evening concluded with the beloved carol “The Virgin Mary Had a Baby Boy”.
