Nessai woman dies after snake bite

MARGAO

A 46-year old woman from Nessai-Curtorim Fatima Colaco has died after being bitten by a snake. Maina Curtorim police informed that the woman was referred from South Goa District Hospital Margao to GMC Bambolim for further treatment.

Post Mortem examination report has opined the cause of death due to " "Intracranial haemorrhage and shock in a person having signs of Envenomation Suggestive of Haemato toxic Snake Bite with head injury consequent to blunt force impact from surface and or object".
