The Quitula Sports, Cultural Club, Aldona organised the ‘All Goa Individual Singing Competition’ at the Club Hall on October 2 at 4.30 pm. The Chief Guest for the function was Caji Mendonca, President of Lions Club of Aldona. Judging the competition were Mary Fernandes, Preethi D’Souza and Rabin D’Pietro. The winners in the different categories were as follows:
Sub-Juniors Category: Lanah Rose Bocaro, Aldona (first), Bevanna Fernandes, Aldona (second), Chrysanthe Parras, Aldona (third) and Jacob Gonsalves, Aldona (consolation). Juniors Category: Jasmine Fernandes, Anjuna (first), Deetya Durgesh Shirwaiker, Quepem (second), Aashna Ashwin Naik, Dona Paula (third) and Micaiah Mary Mascarenhas, Aldona (consolation). Seniors Category: Kedar Toraskar, Vasco (first), Swapnil Gaonkar, Vasco (second), Kiara Rodrigues, Mapusa (third) and Riya Chodankar, Bicholim (consolation). The Voice of Aldona was awarded to Giselle Parras.
