The new veterinary clinic ‘Dr Pinto's Vet Care and Cure’ was opened on Friday at Solramul Court, opposite Confidant Advertising Agency, in St Tome, Panaji. The clinic was inaugurated by 90-year-old Maria Amaral and was blessed by Panaji Parish Priest Fr Walter D'Sa. The clinic is managed by veterinarian Dr Sasha Pinto and her father is Dr Gustavo Pinto, veterinary surgeon who has been practising for the last 42 years. The clinic offers facilities for treatment as well as surgery, having a well-appointed operation theatre. Other facilities include monitors, gas anaesthesia, oxygen, ECG machine, surgical cautery, etc.
