96th anniversary of Shree Damodar Vidyalaya celebrated

The educational institutions from the rural areas need to be financially supported through corporate social responsibility, as the real human resource lies there and it needs to be developed, stated Sarvesh Parab, manager at Colourcon, Verna. Parab was speaking as chief guest at the 96th anniversary celebration of Shree Damodar Vidyalaya at Lolaye. Parab assured that the company will be supporting financially the college for various projects under its CRS activities.

Assistant director of Education Manoj Sawaikar also addressed the audience on the occasion. Students who topped in the SSC exam were felicitated along with Shantaram Daikar, who retired recently from the school. Vishwajeet Warik, president of the educational institution as well as the principal Jitendra Amshekar were present on the occasion. Purushottam Lolayekar read the report and Sumitra Quinolkar announced the prizes. Anil Kamat gave a vote of thanks.
