“Kantarancho Jhelo”, meaning, Garland of Songs authored by Fr Tomas Lobo, Parish Priest of St Thomas Church, Aldona, was released at the hands of Fr Adolf Alvares, Parish Priest of Holy Family Church, Alto-Porvorim, during the annual Catechetical Day celebration held on March 1, 2026 at the Aldona parish centre. “Kantarancho Jhelo” is a compilation of songs woven in book form in Konkani, composed by the author and performed at various parish and other events. This literary work is Fr Tomas’ 26th publication, the release of which was artistically combined with the release of a song video based on the book’s title. The book is priced at Rs 100 and will be available at leading religious stores in the state of Goa.
