Unknown culprits burgled valuables from a resort room occupied by a tourist from Gurgaon at Palolem on Saturday. According to Canacona police, unknown accused persons gained entry into a room at Palolem Casa, Ourem-Palolem, Canacona and stole one Mokobara Tan Color Bag, a Miraggio Fanny Pack, a HP laptop, one laptop charges, Sennheiser earphones, Swarovski jewellery and cash of Rs 3500 on Saturday. The valuables and cash valued at Rs.2,37,299/- belongs to one Nidhi Lahoti, native of Gurgaon, who rented the the Palolem Casa room. Police upon the complaint of Lahoti, registered the complaint u/s 305, 331(2) of BNS 2023 and further investigation is carried out by PSI Babu Dessai of Canacona Police Station.
