Konkani writer Menino Almeida releases his book alongside his son and wife.

Konkani writer Menino Almeida released his new book titled 'Vicharkavya' through Marrish Prokaxon, at Fatorda on Friday at the hands of his son Marvon Almeida at a function held at St Anthony’s Community Hall, Agali-Margao. The book was released on the occasion of Marvon’s 21st birthday. Author Menino and his wife Rosaria Miranda e Almeida were also present.
This is the eighth book written by Menino and contains 366 Thoughts for the Day. These thoughts are woven in the form of two lines of poetry, based on different Thoughts for the Day in English, Hindi and Marathi selected from Google, and are in both Roman and Devanagari scripts of Konkani.
Recently, Menino published a book of stories for children titled ‘Ek Aslem Rishelle Ani Her Kannio'. His book of short stories 'Xim' Ani Mer' has also won the 2023 Konkani Bhasha Mandal Award. He writes in both Roman and Devanagari scripts.
