The vibrant Konkani musical festival "Bhorvanxeachi Sanz – An Evening of Hope," organized in aid of reconstructing of Our Lady of Carmel Chapel, drew thousands  of attendees over three days from November 23 to 25. This brainchild of Fr. Milagres, the chapel's chaplain and an award-winning writer and director of Konkani tiatrs, blended music, games, and local cuisine to rally support for the chapel's reconstruction. On November 23, Goa's favorite musician Mark Revlon, known as the "Prince of Goa" and leader of the Mark Revlon Band, headlined with his signature blend of original Konkani hits like "Dis Udelo" and covers that have enthralled local and international audiences. The finale on November 25 featured Lawry Travasso, the "New Melody King of Goa," accompanied by his troupe and star performer Ester Noronha from Mangaluru, delivering soulful Konkani melodies that resonated deeply with the festive spirit. These performances highlighted the rich Konkani musical heritage, drawing families from across South Goa. Children thrilled at numerous games stalls, while food enthusiasts savoured local Goan dishes from stalls managed by chapel ward members.
