PANAJI: The Computer Department Students’ Organisation – CLICK of Shree Rayeshwar Institute of Engineering and Information Technology (RIT), Shiroda, organised a guest lecture on Cyber Hygiene Practices for students of the Computer, IT, and Electrical & Computer Engineering departments on October 6.
Cyber Yoddha and ISEA Ambassador Allen Pauly Payappilly and PSI Krishna A. Gawas of the Goa Police, accompanied by PC Lavu, addressed the session, highlighting the importance of cyber awareness, password protection, and identifying online threats. They also shared real-life cybercrime cases and practical safety tips. Prof. Pratiksha Shetgaonkar, Head of the Computer Engineering Department, welcomed the guests and thanked them for their contribution towards promoting cyber safety among students. The session concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the speakers and the college management for supporting the initiative.
