PANAJI: The Rotary Club of Panaji recently donated a sound system and books for the library to the Government Primary School, Panaji Central. Rotary Club President Prashant Kaisare, Vice President Dinesh Sinari, Secretary Deepak Gopani, Directors Prashant Kunkalkar, Carlito Martins, Bhalchandra Amonkar, Rajendra Kamat, Mangirish Salkar and Inner Wheel Director Sushma Kaisare were present at the event. Speaking on the occasion, President Kaisare appreciated the school’s activities, the dedication of the teachers and the talents of the students. He said the sound system was provided to meet the school’s needs and assured continued support in future. Sitaram Naik welcomed and conducted the programme. Teacher Sneha Chopde coordinated the children’s cultural performances, while Headmaster Ajit Kholkar proposed the vote of thanks. Teachers Rupa Morajkar, Prerna Phadte and Shweta Kudalkar made special efforts to ensure the event’s success.
