MARGAO: Master Danilo Gomes of Divine Heart School, Chandor, has made Goa and India proud by winning first place at the UCMAS World Cup 2025.
The global abacus and mental arithmetic competition was held on December 6 and 7 at the Georgian National University in Tbilisi, Georgia. The event brought together more than 2,000 students from over 80 countries for speed and accuracy contests in abacus-based calculation, with young participants competing in fast, high-pressure tests of mental skill.
