BICHOLIM : Narayan Zantye College of Commerce, Bicholim, in collaboration with Vedanta Sesa Goa, observed International Youth Day 2025 on August 16 under the initiative ‘YouThePower, YouTheChange’.
The programme included a panel discussion on the theme ‘Local Youth Action for the SDGs & Beyond’, interactive sessions with students, and the inauguration of new facilities.
Speakers shared insights on entrepreneurship, skill development, and the role of youth in job creation, problem-solving, and nation-building.
The panel comprised Santosh Mandrekar of Vedanta IOG, Deepak Nawathe of Sesa Technical School, entrepreneur Chetan Salelkar, and Prof. Dr. Praveen Sawant. It was moderated by student Sadiya Choudhary.
Three students, Siddhi Chopdekar, Vishwanath Illakallmatty, and Shruti Gaddi, were felicitated for their achievements. The event concluded with a Q&A session that encouraged students to pursue innovation, leadership, and community service.
