The Rotary Club of Panaji, active since its inception in 1963, will host its annual drawing competition on December 19, to mark Goa Liberation Day. The event, held for more than 15 years, continues to draw over 700 students each year, including special children. This year’s competition will take place from 9 am to 1 pm at Mahavir Park (Children’s Park), Campal, Panaji, opposite the Directorate of Health Services. Participants may arrive at any time during the event hours. The contest is divided into five groups based on age (as on December 31, 2025). Group 1 (up to 6 years): National Flag; Group 2 (6–9 years): National flower, bird, animal; Group 3 (9–12 years): Liberation Day; Group 4 (12–15 years): Save Nature; and Group 5 (Special Children): My School. Organisers will provide drawing sheets, refreshments, and participation certificates. There is no entry fee.
