MARGAO: Public Works Department Minister Digambar Kamat on Monday launched road hot mixing works in Malbhat at an estimated cost of Rs 15 lakh.
The Minister launched the works in the presence of local businessmen and residents, who had been demanding the hot mixing of the road for some time.
Speaking to the media later, Kamat said the hot mixing works would cover the entire Malbhat area. He added that the remaining roads in Margao would also be taken up for hot mixing in the coming days.
