Visiting Scottish artist Liz Kemp, a public artist with extensive experience of working with community groups and marginalised populations using visual arts, will be conducting a decoupage workshop ‘Art for Sethu’s Cause’ on February 22, at Café Chocolatti in Candolim from 10 am to 1 pm. The initiative is held to support Sethu Centre for Child Development and Family Guidance, a Goa based NGO that works with children and families with neurodevelopmental, educational, emotional, and behavioural challenges. Funds raised through the workshop will contribute towards supporting a child. The workshop is open to art lovers, hobbyists, and anyone looking to spend a meaningful morning while supporting a child-focused cause. The participants will spend a morning decorating their own trays using the art of decoupage – a decorative craft that layers images and paper to create vibrant, personalized designs. The workshop will have a blend of artistic exploration and mindful leisure, with each participant taking home a hand-crafted tray at the end of the session.
