Yoga camp inaugurated at Samrat Club's summer camp

The yoga camp, an integral part of Samrat Club, Margao's 28th Summer Camp for Children, was inaugurated with great enthusiasm and participation at the Junta Quarters Cultural Centre, Pajifond, Margao.

Chief Guest, Venkatesh Hegde, a renowned physician with over 40 years of medical practice and Head of the Art of Living family in Goa, inspired the children with his motivating address.He emphasized that children should set high goals in life, maintain a positive attitude, and never be afraid to take the right decisions. He also complimented Samrat Club for introducing yoga as an important component of its summer camp activities. Guest of Honour, Rama Naik, Head of the Patanjali Committee, South Goa, highlighted the immense benefits of practicing yoga from a young age. He explained that asanas such as Tadasana and Vrikshasana help children build self-esteem, improve concentration, and achieve their goals.  Earlier, the President of Samrat Club, Margao, former Principal Mr. Vishwanath Swar, welcomed the gathering. Miss Tanisha Marathe introduced the Guest of Honour, while Miss kriitika Patnekar introduced the Chief Guest. Miss Kamakshi Raikar compered the programme, and Miss Anuja Alve proposed the vote of thanks.
