PORVORIM: A blood donation camp organised by Holy Family Church, Porvorim, in collaboration with Loving Hearts Goa and the Asilo Blood Bank of North Goa District Hospital, received an encouraging response on Sunday. Held at the church hall, around 27 eligible donors participated in the drive, contributing to the life-saving cause. The initiative was promoted through announcements by Rev. Fr. Adolf Alvares and Assistant Parish Priest Fr. Boris Dias.
An organ donation awareness desk by the MOHAN Foundation added value to the event, with ambassador Gabriel Pereira highlighting its importance. Organisers expressed gratitude to the clergy, medical team and parishioners. The camp reflected strong community spirit and commitment to helping those in need.
