Panaji: Budding singers from the ‘Vocal with Vanessa’ programme took centre stage this weekend at a colourful recital led by vocalist and teacher Vanessa Menezes. The event marked the conclusion of a 12-week vocal training course for children in the age groups of 4–6 and 6–8 years.
Each group presented six songs covering lullabies, nursery rhymes, folk, and pop tunes—showcasing the young performers’ growing confidence and vocal skills across various genres and rhythm patterns.
Encouraged by the success of the recital, Menezes announced that new vocal sessions for young children will begin in June. The upcoming course will continue to focus on pitch, rhythm, and musicality in a fun and engaging format.
