Admitting there were some issues pertaining to drains in the EDC Patto Plaza, CCP Mayor Rohit Monserrate said the corporation would work out a permanent solution to the waterlogging of roads in the area after the monsoon.
Asked to comment on roads at EDC Patto Plaza which were flooded on Tuesday, Monserrate said the EDC Patto area was recently added to CCP’s jurisdiction.
“Certain areas were under water because levelling was not done properly. There is an issue with the drains in the EDC Patto area. We have to rebuild the drains and connect it to the network. After monsoon, we will address these problems and work out a permanent solution,” said Monserrate.
