The conflict in the Middle East has affected gas supply chains, with noticeable impact in Sattari taluka. For the past eight days, the HP LPG cylinder distribution services have reportedly been disrupted, leading to strong dissatisfaction among consumers.

According to residents, the vehicle responsible for delivering HP LPG cylinders has not visited the taluka for over a week. As a result, many households are facing a shortage of cooking gas, affecting their daily routines. This has caused confusion and concern, especially since the government has stated that there is no overall shortage in gas supply.

Information received indicates that rural parts of Sattari taluka are the worst affected. Typically, gas cylinders are delivered weekly across villages through the HP Gas distribution network. However, with services halted for the past eight days, many consumers are struggling.

In several households, only one gas cylinder is available, making timely refilling essential. Some women have reported that despite advance booking, cylinders have not been delivered, causing serious inconvenience.

With changing lifestyles, most households now depend on LPG for cooking. Any delay in cylinder supply disrupts daily life, leading to widespread frustration among residents.

Due to irregular gas supply in Sattari and surrounding rural areas, consumers have appealed to the government to take the issue seriously and ensure timely and uninterrupted gas supply. They have demanded that the HP gas agency immediately resume distribution services and restore regular supply.
