A resident of Cuncolim has complained to the police that an unknown person has cheated him by impersonating as a delivery courier agent.
In his complaint, Abdulla Rojan Navu, Culvaddo, Cuncolim resident stated that prior to June 2, the unknown accused person impersonated as a delivery courier agent and induced him to deposit Rs 5 under the pretext of confirming a delivery.
However, the transaction failed, and subsequently, amounts started getting deducted from the complainant’s bank account. The accused thereby dishonestly cheated the complainant of Rs 98,000.
