The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) on Thursday announced the tentative schedule for Grade 10 (SSC) and HSSC final exams, which are scheduled for February-March 2026.
As per the schedule, for Grade 10 the examination will commence on March 2, while HSSC exams are scheduled from February 10. From this year, the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 has been implemented for Grade 10.
Grade 10 examination will commence with the English paper on March 2, followed by Hindi on March 4 and Marathi on March 6. The social science paper is scheduled for March 9, Mathematics II on March 11 and Mathematics I on March 12. While students will answer the Geography paper on March 13, the Science paper is set for March 14.
On March 17, students will answer the Konkani paper, while Sanskrit is scheduled on the last day of the examination, which is March 18.
“The theory exam in the School Assessment Subjects which are not mentioned in the timetable to be conducted by respective schools including theory exam for CWSN students in Physical Education to be conducted by respective schools,” the Board said.
As far as the HSSC examination is concerned, the exams are set to commence on February 10, with the English paper, while on February 12, students will answer the Accountancy/History/Physics paper. On February 14, Biology/Economics/Geology paper is scheduled; February 17, Mathematics and Sociology; February 18, Konkani/Sanskrit; and February 19, Marathi paper.
Students will answer the Chemistry paper on February 20 and Hindi paper on February 21. Psychology paper is scheduled on February 25 and Banking on February 26. Geography paper is scheduled for February 27.
