A lady security guard working at the Selaulim Dam under Goa Human Resources Development Corporation returned to the rightful owner a wallet which she had found at the botanical garden while on duty.
Security Guard Manasi Bhandari after having found the wallet which contained important documents besides cash, ATM and pan card handed over the same to the supervisor.
The supervisor immediately called on the Junior Engineer WRD Swapnil Divkar who looks after the maintainance of the Selaulim Dam contacted the owner Viraj Mhatre of the wallet through the details obtained in the wallet.
Mhatre had come down to Goa from Panvel Mumbai and also visited the Selaulim Dam during his trip to Goa. Mhatre thanked the officials and the security guard for returning the wallet with all the documents safe. Director of GHRDC Itchit Phaldessai also complimented Manasi Bhandari for her honest act.
