Navinya Desai from Mushtifund Aryaan Higher Secondary School emerged as Goa’s topper in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2025, securing All India Rank of 470- the highest in the State so far. He scored 236 out of 360.
Navinya with a percentile of 99.98 had also topped in the State in JEE Main Session 2, results of which were announced in April. He plans to pursue admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology in Bombay or Delhi. The results for the JEE Advanced 2025 were officially announced by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur on Monday, the organising institute for this year's examination. Rajit Gupta from the IIT Delhi zone has emerged as the all-India topper, securing AIR 1 with a total score of 332 out of 360.
As per the information provided by Mushitfund Aryaan Higher Secondary School, Sparsh Ajgaonkar stood second in the State with AIR 1286. His total score was 199.
Sparsh had also answered the Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT), where he scored 317.
Total 13 students have cleared JEE Advance, of which five are within 10,000 AIR rank.
The other students include Steffan Silva (AIR 5076), Suhit Mhambrey (AIR 5164), Krrish Parekh (AIR 9494), Steve Baretto (AIR 10,734), Rishit Kulkarni (AIR 10,782), Tanay Mahajan (AIR 12,455), Hrishi Naik (AIR 12,518), Ahana Sangui (AIR 14,721), Isaiah Caldeira (AIR 16,203) Mark Pereira ( AIR 23,415) and Omkar Kamat.
