The Goa Police has invited e-tenders worth Rs 3.4 crore for the procurement of a 15 mtrs fast patrol boat for its Coastal Security Police wing from approved Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) or their authorised dealers.
In the tender notice, the patrol boat should be capable of accommodating four crew members and have life-saving capacity for 10 persons, including the crew.
The boat is required to have a service life of 10 years, based on an average annual usage of 1,000 running hours, subject to compliance with the prescribed maintenance schedule.
The bid will open on June 9, while the submission deadline is June 8. The successful bidder will have to complete the supply within 180 days.
