Mapusa police have registered a case against a son and a daughter-in-law on charges of harassing his father in Ganeshpuri-Mapusa, and for allegedly abusing and assaulting his two married sisters.
According to police reports, the incident took place on September 14 at around 4.30 pm, when the victim, Dinanath Redkar, filed a complaint stating that his son, Dinesh, and his wife had harassed him, tore his clothes, did not provide him with medicines.
Dinanath also accused them of turning off the water when he went to the bathroom, and using his towel for the dog.
Dinanath’s two married daughters demanded an explanation for their actions, but were allegedly abused and assaulted by the two accused.
Acting on Dinanath’s police complaint, Mapusa police registered a case against Dinesh Redkar and his wife. Both accused have been issued a notice to appear at the police station for questioning. Further investigation is being conducted by Sub-Inspector Viraj Korgaonkar under the guidance of Police Inspector Nikhil Palekar.
