CANACONA: South Goa Member of Parliament, Captain Viriato Fernandes, has said that any project in the Loliem-Polem Panchayat area of Canacona taluka, including the proposed Film City, will face opposition if it is deemed a threat to national security.
Fernandes, speaking during a visit to the constituency on Monday, made the remarks in response to a journalist’s query. The MP was on a tour to meet local residents, listen to their grievances, and understand their issues.
The meeting, held at the Palolem Club House, was attended by Congress Party’s State Vice President Savio De Silva, Janardan Bhandari, and Mahadev.
