Presenting their float ‘Daiz Purvozanchem Vhoddponn Goemkaranchem’, Romantics gave a call to the youth to make a living in Goa itself by taking up traditional businesses.
The float by Primeiro ‘Adli Goddsann’ was equally enthralling as it portrayed the importance of Goa’s traditional sweets which are slowly vanishing from the lifestyle of the present generation.
Jingle Bells’ float ‘Divadkaranchi Adli Yeradari Asli Kaibori’ took the revellers to the yesteryears when bullock carts, cameao and others ruled the roads of Goa.
Maddant Stars with their float ‘Portugezachem Daiz Goemkaranchem Aiz’ showcased the heritage left behind by our rulers and highlighted the need to preserve the same.
Divar Centre’s float ‘Mozbut Pallam Ruchik Follam’ focussed on the need to grow fruits the natural way.
Finally, Vittozem’s float showcased the festival of Sao Joao with the fun and frolic accompanying it.
Apart from the floats, a lot of extravaganza was in store with live entertainment, for which hundreds of revellers mostly youth thronged Divar.
