Cavelossim village panchayat on Tuesday distributed Mhaje Ghar forms to village residents. Sarpanch Dixon Vaz explained the guidelines in simple terms and said that those who follow the rules will be able to become certified legal owners of their houses under the Mhaje Ghar scheme. He also spoke about the right to shelter guaranteed under Article 21 of the Constitution. “We will fully support residents who need help from the panchayat to complete the documents and avail the benefits of the scheme,” Vaz said.
