A national from Guinea-Conakry has been arrested on charges of possessing drugs worth Rs 20.8 lakh at Arambol.
According to Mandrem police, the accused, identified as Emmanuel Okeke was nabbed near the Arambol parking lot on Thursday with purple powder suspected to be ecstasy (MDMA) valued at Rs 12.1 lakh, whitish powder suspected to be cocaine valued at Rs 3.85 lakh and whitish coloured crystalline substance suspected to be Methamphetamine (MATH) valued at Rs 4.85 lakh, all worth a combined Rs 20.8 lakh.
Mandrem police is investigating the case.
