Former Dy CM Babu Kavlekar seen along with Khola BJP candidate Tejal Pagi while descending a slope after visiting a house at Naqueri in Betul-Naqueri panchayat.

While campaigning for the BJP candidates in both Khola and Xeldem ZP constituencies, former Deputy Chief Minister and BJP Vice-President Chandrakant (Babu) Kavlekar took the opportunity to lash out at his archrival, Quepem MLA Altone D’Costa, accusing him of gimmicks to grab attention.
“I am involved in four ZP seats, including Khola, Barcem, Xeldem and Guirdolim, where Congress MLAs Yuri Alemao and Quepem MLA Altone D’Costa are present. The BJP is winning all four seats,” said Kavlekar.
Taking a dig at D’Costa, Kavlekar said it has been four years, but the Quepem MLA is never on the field.
“He has nothing to show for anything done by him. He talks only ‘bundles’ (lies) for the last four years. He has done no development work, a complete ‘nil’, except for breaking coconuts for the works brought by me when I was Dy CM, posting it on social media and taking credit,” said Kavlekar.
Meanwhile, Kavlekar was seen traversing challenging paths along with Khola BJP candidate Tejal Pagi at Naqueri in Betul-Naqueri panchayat, in a bid to reach out to voters.
Several other karyakartas, including Khola Sarpanch Pradhnya Kamat, and panch members of Khola and Betul-Naqueri were seen actively campaigning for the BJP candidate.
