He has changed the concept of formal dress code in Goa withthe introduction of latest fashions and trendy designs in his suiting.

Adopting aggressive marketing techniques and offering thebest quality at an affordable price, Andrew Fernandes of D’ziners succeeded inmaintaining a benchmark in formal attires, wedding suits, bridal dresses andfashionable apparels.

One can choose from a wide range of fabrics for classictuxedos or more sophisticated double-breasted suits.

Ethnic lovers have a wide choice in ‘jodhpuris’ withdifferent kinds of embroidered designs and matching ‘mojaris’ especially madeby Andrew.

D’ziners are well known for formal suits, but traditional‘sherwanis’ are also their specialty.

“We conduct fashion shows too,” says Andrew, popularly knownas Andy in the clothing world.

Andy holds fashion shows at the smaller level fetes as ithelps him to connect with the locals. “You can bring out the best in such showsand it is easier than organising an expensive fashion show all by yourself,” headmits.

“People are crazy about clothes in Goa. A Goan will change10 to 12 suits in his lifetime,” says Andy. According to him tailoring willnever fade. “That’s because there’s always the tailor’s personal touch whichcan’t happen with ready-mades,” he adds.

He likes to bond with his customers and so takes themeasurements himself.

“Personal touch with the clients makes them feel at home inmy boutique. They feel they are special and that’s the way you develop a longlasting relationship,” Andy said.

“My tryst with a client starts young. He comes to me in allstages of his life – as a school going kid, a teen, a page boy, a groom, anofficer or a businessman. I remain a part of all his important occasions, as hegets his clothes stitched from me,” Andy reasons out.
