The Kadamba Transport Corporation Limited (KTCL) has assured that buses operators would be given fair benefits under the Mhaji Bus Scheme 2025.
Speaking to reporters on Monday, KTCL MD Rohan Kaskar said the bus owners objecting are mainly from Margao–Canacona routes.
“The objection of bus owners to the new scheme is mainly over fears they may get less benefits on the Margao-Canacona route...When the new scheme is implemented we can look into the timing of buses which are overlapping between KTCL and private buses...Those timings can be rescheduled while issuing passes to the passengers of KTCL so that benefits of private bus owners are not affected,” he added.
