While WhatsApp does have a varied menu of emoji's to choose from, it is expanding it's list still further by introducing 16 new ones to help express ourselves better.
The new WhatsApp Beta version 2.17.44 which was first introduced in iOS 10.2 and Android 7.1 Nougat in 2016 are now available for all the devices running on Android Marshmallow, Lollipop and older.
Previously WhatsApp had introduced emoji’s where all the skin types could be selected, showing racial diversity, this time it is back with gender equality with emojis including girl emoji’s of doctor, health worker, student, graduate, teacher, farmer, cook, chef, mechanic, repair, factory worker, business, office worker, scientist, technologist, software engineer, singer, rock star. he other five with new professions are judge, painter, pilot, astronaut, fire fighter. Additional one’s are of a clown, an avocado, a girl and a boy doing facepalm, a shrug, butterfly, bacon, a nauseated face, a dancing boy, a whiskey glass.
The new beta version can be simply updated from Google Playstore, although users are cautioned to wait for a more stable version. If however users do want to try out the new version faste, one can go the Android app for WhatsApp in Google Play Store and just scroll down to the part which says "Become a beta tester". Join the program to receive the latest beta version of WhatsApp within a few minutes. Install the update and enjoy the new emojis to the fullest.Along with the new emoji’s, the new version will now allow you to view all the unread messages from the conversations instead of the latest messages. Apart from this you will also be notified whenever a friend will change his/her status and be able to edit sent messages.
WhatsApp recently also announced that it is working on a new update which will enable users to live track the location of friends and family. Of course this option can be switched off by the user whenever he wants
