Kamat, who is a resident of Baina, Vasco, was conferred with the award on 23rd April 2026 wherein he was recognised for dedication, punctuality, reliability and strong work ethic.

When asked about his success, Kamat dedicated the success to family, friends and senior officers General Manager Bhupendra Sharma (INAS), Naval Armament Depot, Goa for his support, guidance and also for the opportunity they have given him to learn and grow.
