Porvorim police have filed a charge sheet against a school van driver on charges of sexually assaulting a 6-year-old girl in December 2025.
The accused Allabhaksh Goususab Saiyydabade (46), a native of Karnataka who resides near P&T Colony in Porvorim, had been engaged as a driver to pick and drop children to school.
The girl disclosed to her parents about the sexual assault and the parents filed a complaint with the Porvorim police.
The minor girl was examined at the GMC hospital at Bambolim where a medical officer confirmed that there was evidence of sexual assault on the victim. Acting on the complaint, police arrested the accused. The accused remains in judicial custody till date.
Police have filed a detailed charge sheet under Sections 64, 65, 74, 351, 115(2) of BNS Act, Section 8(1), 8(2) of Goa Children’s Act, section 4,6,8,12 of POCSO Act citing numerous witnesses and technical evidence. The case will be tried in special Children’s Court for the State of Goa.
