Dry weather forecast for next four days, with hazy mornings

Dry weather is likely to prevail over Goa for the next four days. Haze may be experienced in the morning at isolated places on Thursday, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has said.

The forecast for next 48 hours was mainly clear sky becoming partly cloudy towards evening and haze like condition in the morning.

“As of now, there are no significant weather changes over the State. We are not expecting any rainfall for the next four days,” said Rahul Mohan, IMD scientist in Goa.

The weather department has also forecasted that there could be rise in temperature by 1 to 2 degree Celsius on Thursday but the temperature is expected to fall by 2 degree Celsius during subsequent three days.

There are no specific warnings to fishermen for next four days.

On Wednesday, the maximum temperature recorded in Panaji was 34.5 degree Celsius which was nearly 2 degree Celsius above normal while the minimum temperature was 22.5 degree Celsius which was a little over 1 degree Celsius lesser than normal.

The humidity reported was around 72 per cent.
