MARGAO: Shiroda Zilla Panchayat member Dr Gauri Subhash Shirodkar has been elected as the President of the Goa Panchayat Mahila Shakti Abhiyan. Geeta Parab has been elected as the North Goa District President, while Rajashree Rajesh Gaonkar has been elected as the South Goa District President.
Anil Dhumaskar was appointed as the presiding officer by the Director of Panchayats. GPMSA Administrator Nelly Rodrigues congratulated State President Gauri Shirodkar and requested all elected members to work under her leadership. Others elected to the Managing Committee include Tara Hadfadkar as Vice President, Poonam Chandrakant Samant as Secretary, and Gauri P Kamat as Treasurer.
