Booth Level Officers distribute Form 12-D to senior citizens and persons with disabilities ahead of Ponda by-poll.

In connection with the upcoming by-election to the 21-Ponda Assembly Constituency, the Booth Level Officers (BLOs) have completed the distribution of Form 12-D to all eligible absentee voters, namely AVSC (85+ senior citizens) and AVPD (persons with disabilities duly tagged).
These voters will now be able to exercise their franchise through a postal ballot (home voting).
Polling teams will visit their residences to facilitate voting, thereby ensuring greater accessibility and inclusiveness in the electoral process.
South Goa district Collector, Egna Cleetus, IAS, has informed that the BLOs had fanned out to various places in the Ponda Assembly constituency to distribute Form 12-D to all eligible 85-plus senior citizens, besides persons with disabilities.
