Stage more tiatrs at Ravindra Bhavan Baina

It is a known fact that tiatr is a popular in Goa, known for its entertainment value and cultural significance. Several shows which are staged at various Ravindra Bhavans across the State including, Kala Academy in Panaji and Gomant Vidya Niketan in Margao, attracts large crowds.

However it is observed that tiatrs at Ravindra Bhavan in Baina have become a rarity. There are several tiatr lovers in the port town and any show staged here goes houseful. However for some strange reason tiatr directors seem reluctant to stage their shows in Baina.

As a result only one or two shows or at the most three shows are staged here in a month. They have to travel either to Panaji or Margao. It is common knowledge that GVN is a much smaller hall as compared to the Ravindra Bhavan in Margao. Hence tiatr lovers need to book the tickets in advance in order to avoid disappointment.

Hopefully this anomaly will be addressed in the near future.
