Recently the opposition highlighted in the ongoing assembly sessions that Orville Vales (Panchayat Secretary of Sancoale) has so many confirmed complaints with proof against him but the government is reluctant to punish him. The Goa Chief Minister promised to look into the file -- which I think is just a deceptive evasion; as per similar statements CM gives whenever the government is pulled up on facts. However saying which, I would like to highlight to the opposition that there are so many cases of panchayats secretaries being shown up with proof to he corrupt, and this entire list should be put forward to the CM for action failing which legal action must be taken. All their assets/wealth and that of their family members must be thoroughly investigated.
